THE RETURN: LIFE AFTER ISIS
Trapped

Sky Documentaries

This powerful documentary offers a unique portrait of a group of Western women who once pledged allegiance to ISIS but now seek to return to their homelands and rebuild their lives.

We see intimate portraits of each woman, trapped in a Syrian camp with nowhere to go. A shadow cast by the camp’s fence falls across their faces, symbolising their confinement and the weight of their past as they wait in limbo for a chance at reintegration and redemption.
